中文名

長趾陸寄居蟹(此名稱是本人參考了Grapsus longitarsis的中文名長趾方蟹所譯，非學名)。

Remark – Coenobita longitarsis vs Coenobita cavipes

上文提到C. longitarsis 體色跟凹足陸寄居蟹(Coenobita cavipes)很接近，都是呈灰褐色。

C. longitarsis左第三胸足前節的背外側緣沒有一條隆起稜。但是凹足陸寄居蟹(Coenobita cavipes)的左第三胸足前節的背外側緣具有一條隆起稜。

事實上，從外表是很難分別此2個物種。

以下的個記錄不知是否 Coenobita longitarsis?

以下幾點是我自已的發現兩種的分別:

左邊第三胸足型狀不同，凹足陸寄居蟹(Coenobita cavipes)左邊第三胸足的前節和指節是扁平，只是右邊第三胸足的前節和指節修長。但C. longitarsis應該是左邊和右邊第三胸足的前節和指節皆修長。
大螯顆粒分佈不同，凹足陸寄居蟹(Coenobita cavipes)大螯顆粒分佈在整隻大螫，C. longitarsis大螯的掌部明顯是沒有夥粒。
眼睛型狀不同，C. longitarsis的眼晴感覺比凹足陸寄居蟹(Coenobita cavipes)較圓。
